Clothes still in the wash and still mean-mugging my luggage as a form of protest in light of my loss in the stalemate.. I would say that's not a very productive packing session. But who's to judge?

The past few days have been full of goodbye dinners and well wishes from countless individuals. To say I have the best family and friends a girl could fathom would be the understatement of a lifetime, so I will say that I have the best family and friends any person could ever dream of having. I cannot wait to share my adventures with each and every one of them.

I think I am spending more time trying to decide what to wear on the plane tomorrow than what to pack for the entire adventure and I'm uncertain what that says about my priorities, but I'm okay with it. Obviously I have to look casual yet thoughtfully put together when I arrive in Rome. I wouldn't want the Italians to think I wasn't considerate of their opinions of my attire. That would just be rude of me.

While I still have much to do, anticipation and excitement are high in this moment. It's like the night before you go to Disney World, except a million times better. No hard feelings towards you, Disney. You's awesome and all and imma let you speak, but first.. Italy.

It is obviously time for rest on this front. Next time you hear from me I will be across the tiny pond. Be on the lookout for amazing adventures and surely comical encounters. I promise not to disappoint.

Ciao!
